Dominion Senior Living of Bristol is pleased to announce the hiring of several key members of its director team. This team is vital to completing the vision of Dominion Senior Living of Bristol, and will provide purposeful interactions for assisted living and memory care residents each day. Five directors have accepted the heartfelt mission and high standards of Dominion Senior Living. They are currently preparing to “honor God through service to seniors” and create the best environment possible for future residents. Dominion Senior Living of Bristol is proud to welcome and announce the addition of Shelby Skidmore, business office director; Larry Berryman, maintenance director; Samantha Cash, life enrichment director; Kimberly Hart, LPN, wellness director; and Jake Jacobs, dining services director. Each of these staff members will be under the direction of Senior Executive Director Michelle Bolling. All directors have experience in senior living, are passionate about their work, and see their positions as more of a personal calling than a job. The team will collaborate to fulfill the daily mental, physical and spiritual needs of each resident as they seek to create an environment where seniors in the Bristol area thrive.

“When selecting our team, we look for experienced professionals who are not only good at what they do, but also have a true passion for serving seniors,” said Bolling. “Our success is rooted in the environment our team creates and the culture we live by each and every day. The residents are our priority, and we treat them with the same care and compassion as our own families. Our inviting and meaningful environment is filled with purpose, and I am excited to have the right team in place to fulfill our vision.”

Shelby Skidmore comes to Dominion Senior Living as business office director, having managed vast responsibilities over many years in the senior living field including helping residents with admissions and managing accounting and insurance responsibilities. She has several years of experience in the senior living field and is a licensed assisted living administrator.
As maintenance director, Larry Berryman has the skills for engineering and maintenance, and he especially enjoys serving senior adults. He has worked in assisted living and memory care communities for more than 16 years. Berryman is also focused on preventive maintenance, compliance management and safety.

Joining the Bristol team as the life enrichment director is Samantha Cash. She is eager to share her passion for seniors with residents and families, as she will plan and execute a highly engaging, individualized and purposeful life enrichment program. Cash has experience working with both children and seniors, and she is originally from Greenville, Tenn.

Kim Hart, wellness director, has been a Licensed Practical Nurse for 26 years and is experienced in serving residents in assisted living and memory care communities as well as primary care, clinical research and case management. Hart is a graduate of Morristown State Area Vocational College where she earned her LPN licensure and graduated with honors.

Rounding out the team is Jake Jacobs, who will oversee the dining staff as dining services director. Jacobs has many years of experience cooking nutritious meals for seniors with various dietary needs, is ServSafe certified and has successfully managed kitchen inventory across five different senior living communities.

The team looks forward to incorporating Dominion Senior Living’s values, specialized training and expertise into their daily routines to create purposeful moments for seniors. The team shares the excitement of helping residents live their best lives with personalized care in a faith-based environment. They cannot wait to impact the lives of the residents, realizing that the residents will have just as much of an impact – if not more – on their own lives.

“As a team, we all look forward to using our experience and commitment to make a considerable difference in the lives of the residents and families we serve,” said Bolling. “We are anxious to welcome families in the Bristol area to our community, and we look forward to showing them how we honor God through service to seniors.”
