On May 10th, Governor Bill Lee signed The Alzheimer’s disease and related Dementia Advisory Council Bill (Chapter 364 of the Public Acts of 2019) and LATN is proud to have two of our board members at the table. The council requests information, via this survey, to inform its work.  This survey is intended to gather information and perspective on needs relating to the experience and care of persons with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia in Tennessee.

Survey:  https://stateoftennessee.formstack.com/forms/adrd_needsassessment

Please feel free to share this information and survey link with any Tennessean who would like to complete this survey.  If you would like to complete this form on paper, please email [email protected] or call 615-741-1428 and a copy will be mailed to you.

LeadingAge19 Annual Conference was was very successful and we are thankful to all that were able to attend from TN! Special thanks to Orcutt Winslow, HealthPro Heritage, and Morrison Living for sponsoring our State Night Reception in San Diego!

LATN Executive Director Gwyn Earl, MatrixCare VP, Marketing, Michael Orzechowski and LeadingAge National CEO, Katie Sloan, asking conference attendees how they celebrate aging in San Diego. The answers received were very encouraging!

LATN19 Excellence in Caregiving Award Winners Donna Starks and Barbara Murphy were recognized at LeadingAge 2019 Annual Conference last week! Thank you OnShift for recognizing our super caregivers!

AND...LATN19 Excellence in Volunteerism Award Winner Laura Jo Kraner did a fabulous job being interviewed on the national stage! Pictured here with her family, Kirk Mason, CEO, Stones River Manor and LATN E.D. Gwyn Earl.

The team from Stones River Manor also came out to support Gwyn and Laura Jo at the Murfreesboro City School Board meeting as they shared the LATN Careers That Love Back Campaign. Watch for additional info on that coming soon!

It was a treat to be with Jon Tagatz, Executive Director, and Bill Phillips at the Grand Opening of the beautiful addition at The Heritage at Brentwood!
