Our Legacy

Founded in November 1989, LeadingAge Tennessee has been at the forefront of promoting quality care, fostering innovation, and shaping policies to support long-term care providers. Over the past three and a half decades, we’ve witnessed and adapted to profound changes in demographics, healthcare technologies, and regulatory environments.

As we celebrate our 35th anniversary, we reflect on the strides made in advancing senior care and the challenges still ahead. Through advocacy and education, we continue to support a growing community of long-term care providers who are committed to excellence.
